Welcome to Wire Bender Studios. We are a small arts studio specializing in wire creations.
Presently the main focus is wire bonsai and dramatic, windblown trees.
The inspiration for our work is found in nature as well as in the untiring work of bonsai masters.
Nature is the perfect teacher. Forms found in nature can be approximated, replicated but never surpassed. Nature never fails to astound us with new creations.
The art of bonsai strives to draw upon these natural creations and place them within our grasp. Years and decades go into shaping those perfect forms, and the dedication and vision of the bonsai masters are truly admirable.

And drawing on those inspirations we've set out to re-create those natural and man-made wonders in the medium of wire. Be it a windblown tree, a serene willow tree or a withered, broken stump in the desert, trunks, branches and leaves are particularly well-suited for wire work.
And so our quest began. It began modestly, but with every twist and turn (pun intended) the trees grew larger and more elaborate. It was as if they had a life of their own. The result is this website.
